invalid license reason code=missing dll

Hello,

I just reloaded BF4, to get ready for BF2042, and it wont launch.  I'm getting the following error: invalid license reason code=missing DLL msvcp110.DLL error:0x7e

help?

Ok found a older thread on this same issue and someone fixed the problem by opening Origin , right clicked on battlefield, and changed it from 64 to 86 in the game properties. I did the same and the game launched.

Hey @phxman can you try installing the most up to date version of VC++ to see if it helps.

You can find the latest version on the Microsoft website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

You need to install both of the following:

• vcredist_x86_vs2015 (for 32bit Windows version)
• vcredist_x64_vs2015 (for 64bit Windows version)

If you get the message that the files are already installed, select Repair instead. It is recommended to run the installer as administrator (right-click the file, select run as admin).

Hey @EA_Darko that did not work. Downloaded, installed both and restarted but still getting the same message.

@EA_Darko The issue IS NOT sorted, I still get the error message when I try to play BF4.    BFV works,  BF4 does not.

@phxman In that case, could you navigate to your BF4 folder and launch both files that you can find here?

I ran both vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x86 as adminstrator and selected repair.  Both finished successfully and I restarted the PC but still getting the same error.

@EA_Darko  Downloaded but get message "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue a  newer or same version is present" when attempt to run.  Fyi I have NVIDIA Experience and drivers are all current.
