So I have spent the last 2 weeks trying ti fix this problem. When I launch Origin Client I receive a blank screen which I have attached to this post.
I have tried:
1) going into safe mode
2) uninstalling origin "the hard way"
3) going on a different network
4) connecting my computer to the internet with a cable
5) contacting EA (obviously they were no help)
I have tried everything possible. My Mac is on OS 10.14.6 Mojave which is fully updated. I have spent $200 on the Sims 4 and would love to be able to actually put all that money into good use. I am at a complete loss on what to do- even the EA "experts" cannot help me. If anyone has any advice on where to go from here, please let me know (or how to complain enough where EA actually helps me and fixes the problem for once).
Thank you!
For reference, when I put my Mac into safe mode I can see the Origin log in screen but it's too zoomed in to do anything. Then I log in blindly and it works but then it immediately crashed. I also have downloaded an older version of origin and it won't download my Sims games.

@kyrapeterson Please make sure you don't have any proxies enabled. Here's how:
https://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=135932
Then run the Origin reset tool and try to login again.

If that doesn't help, create a new admin user account on your Mac and try to login to Origin in that account instead.
