How do I change the monthly spend for microcontent purchases when it will not allow me to.

Want to change the spending limits for your teen’s account? Here’s how:

 

  • Go to origin.com.
  • Hover over your EA ID in the bottom corner and click on EA Account and Billing.
  • Click on the Household tab.
  • Click on the teen’s account whose spend controls you want to change.
  • Click Edit next to Spend Limits.

 

Setting up spend limits for your Household in Origin.

Here you can change the limits for games and downloadable content (DLC) as well as for microcontent purchases. You can also click Reset to Default if you want to put the settings back to how they were originally.

how sad, this is simply not working. When I set the limits for my son to 0 and save the settings, an error message appears.

Didn't you test that simple case?????

Can you try setting it to a low value, like one or two dollars.

no, that does not work, too. Already the fact that the default settings for a teenager is unlimited is really not something to recommend, I must say!

I do not have access to a secondary (teen) account to walk you through this. Is there an apply button there that you may be missing?

Hello,

 

is there a description of the behavior how it should be?

 

of course there is a button to apply the changed values but when i press it a message appears saying there is something wrong and it can not be processed.
