help my friend disappeared and I don't know where he went

We were walking through the woods when all of the sudden, he disappeared from my Origin friend's list after I logged back in for the first time in months. I have tried using his IGN, his full name and his email address but he is a ghost. A figment of my imagination. Help.

@YaBoyBeanut Can you try to Clear Origin Cache and Reset Internet Explorer settings (Origin uses IE, even if you use another browser for daily use) and try to search again? If your friend still does not come up, can you confirm with them if they have made changes to their privacy settings?
