game uppdates break the game and I can only fix it by uninstalling origin

Hi there, I'm not sure where too look or who to ask for help with this so ill start here and see what happens.

I am on windows 8, PC. I have the sims 4 and this is my only game on origin. Every Single time it needs to update in order to play, it breaks and cannon be fixed when Iet it run through the fix process. The Only solution is to uninstall both the game and Origin entirely and reinstall everything. This is a huge pain for downloading everything Again from scratch especially when I'm away and don't have the internet for it. Can anyone help me know what to do when updating the game to make it actually work the first go? Once it doesn't work, theres no fixing it without redownloading/reinstalling Everything and I'd LOVE to be able to just Update and go. Thanks.
