canty login to hotmail to get my ea account

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone could help or surgest how i sort my problem out now i made a hotmail account years ago and created my ea account through that but ive not had access to it for many years now so i was playing batytlefield 5 other day on ps4 and asked me to change my password so then i can play multiplayer i spoke to ea and they said they cant help me cause i dont have access to that old hotmail account but for the past 2 years ive been playing it with the same email i use now so i dunno why they cant switch it over to my gmail anyone any surgestions please be much appreciated
