well there is a rare thing something has change in the cloud so there is no connections to service ( most call this ISP problem )
i think EA had a app for testing, but most of us just use tracert

but its also possible there is other reason.
and if you have wait 24hours NO ISP can be that slow unless line has been broken on a road.

then try Contact help, and get confirm account is right
and i guess this is Origin Client not web page at ea.com with login

Note: This is happening everywhere and it has been going on for 3 days.

Basically you can not go online on Origin. If you log in it says you're in offline mode, if you click "go online" it brings u back to login screen and gives a popup: "online login is currently unavailable". So you would think: ok then just do offline, but that isnt working either, apparently I need to "activate my game" despite the fact that i had several hundred hours on it. After i type in my email and password for my EA to "activate my game" nothing happens and im worried that this will affect my progress.

So basically I can not play games online or offline for the past 3 days and counting.

I can't even access E.A. from my browser to login to the site. I come back from being away from playing on origin for a couple of days and I cant access the origin login site or the E.A. one. This has been going on for at least 5 days!!

just so people are aware there is 14days between those reply's this can't be same issue. see other post something about westcoast issue.
