Hey, Recently an error occurred when I tried to log in my origin account, The error pooped up was "Sign in failure" as its title and the body lines were "Sign in is currently unavailable. Please try again later", when I tried to contact EA's support the page refreshed and didn't let me create a conversation with a service representative.
I asked two friends to check thier accounts also to find out if im the only one who has this problem, They both received the exact same message when they were trying to log into thier account. My friend tried to create a new account and surprisingly the log in worked.
thank you

@LordUmbra You could be having an issue with the connection, as such I would suggest taking a look at our Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/
A lot of the time when this issue occurs it's a simple enough fix so if the above steps do not help then the next thing to try is clearing your Origin Cache.
You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:
Try both and if nothing works get back to me and we will take if from there.

i also can't log into my account, i'm not exactly sure why, no error message or anything just goes straight to online, i was playing sims 4 and tropico 5 with no problems till this started 2-3 days ago. i'm just going to buy tropico 5 off of steam since i can't seem to use origin at all for some reason, never had a problem like this before.
i went into my firewall to create an exception in case that was the cause, which doesn't make sense because nothing has changed on my network.
i tried logging into the website and all i get is you can't sign in at this time.
so i'm at a loss, i heard some accounts was getting banned when i tried to find info on reddit, getting banned for trying to buy thing? maybe i got caught up in that for downloading a vault game from my monthly access? if i'm banned, my credit card will not be billed anymore right?
edit: shocked that i can log into my origin account here.. i tried to use the origin app thinking maybe this was fixed and no, no it's not still can't log in =/

thank you I will try these steps

I followed those steps exactly; and now I can't login to Origin app. It keeps saying, " Online login is currently unavailable."
In all my years I've never had this issue. I tried clearing Origin Cache cuz BF V was crashing after 4minutes of play. And that too was new.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @TaiwanChamp.
Can you try disabling your anti-virus and firewall and then see if it lets you log in. If it works then great, you just need to add an exception for Origin to both.
If the issue continues can you try the steps in this help thread: : http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/Origin-Login-Unavailable/td-p/5019298

Disconnected Avast and still can't connect. I tried other fixes. Is this a regional issue?
