@bellajmoore The only other thing I can think to suggest is that you reinstall macOS. You can reinstall your version of Catalina from the internet:
https://support.apple.com/en-bh/guide/mac-help/mchlp1599/10.15/mac/10.15
While it should preserve all your data, it's still a good idea to back up everything essential first.

Is reinstalling macOS basically wiping the computer and then reinstalling everything? Sorry just a little confused.

Reinstalling macOS will keep the files and settings on your computer intact. You can find more info on how to reinstall it over at the Apple support website.
Let us know if you're still running into the same issues with Origin after that.

Hi @bellajmoore.
Did you have any luck with reinstalling macOS? Is Origin still not launching?

im not a mac expert, but you are sure its not own security or anti virus app that block it.
( after a reset it Security app could had update its files and core and now give installer issue with allow it to install.
as you point out it once work, and i bet system was on C-Drive, so imo it look like own Security app doing it.
and new system is same as not know that Origin is there, unless you install it on other harddisk.
the other mac user explan maybe the newer version dont have that issue. or know better if your pc can run it.

Scroll down to end of the file, maybe you have one of them AV that doing it or need a exception rule.

So so sorry I did not see your message!
What file are you talking about to scroll down on to find if I have a security thing blocking it?
