It won't let me download Origin to play a game even though I've already bought it . It says it can't find VCRUNTIME240.dll and it can't find MSVCP140.dll either. I did everything I could . I downloaded both files and restarted my computer, downloaded Microsoft Visual C++ and restarted it , and some other things . I don't know what to do anymore so please help.

Hey @PonyWave and @yagurlbob this issue is caused by running an out of date VC++ installation. It can be resolved by manually running the installer from the Origin installation folder - the default location for this folder is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin
From this folder, run one of both files:
If you get the message that the files are already installed, select Repair instead. It is recommended to run the installer as administrator (right-click the file, select run as admin).

Hi I have the same issue as above it won't let me install at all.. I am unable to follow your advise as there is nothing in the program files for me to run???
