Windows 10 X Box overlay required now to play Sims 4. Why?

I have problems now with Sims 4 (plays after ignoring message) Sims 2 Ultimate, SimCity Rushhour and Bejewelled 3(Fatal error refer to PopCap = failure). You don't have control over Origin Games I managed to remove Xbox App via the Powershell Admin but now told to install App from Microsoft Store. This is after the very latest Windows 10 update. All played ok before. Please get possession of your Origin Games back from Microsoft. (is this because of the Console versions? I want my PC Games back. Not buying any more. Fed up!!!!

No, it is not required.

Non of the games you listed require the X Box overlay. (As a matter of fact there is no Origin game at all that require this Windows features.)

Either there is an error in your Windows installation or you have set the wrong settings.
