every time i open origin, sims takes so long to open because it always has to finalize. is that normal

@conniscia No, it's not normal at all. After installing, updating, or repairing, Origin should finalize the process and then not need to do anything until the next time you update or download new content. Try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
If that doesn't help, please clear Origin's cache (Windows) or run the Origin reset tool (macOS), restart your computer, and repair again.

@conniscia If you moved it to the recycle bin, just restore it. If it's permanently gone, whether it matters depends on the games you have installed. For Sims 4, you might be totally fine, or you might need to repair it again. I don't think it really matters too much to Sims 4 that LocalContent is gone. Other games may lose some data though.
