Why does it always show me as offline to my friends

My status is always offline when every I play BF5.  I have to manually change it to online and all my friends are having the same issue.

Best thing to do when you see your status as offline @ZigsIsMyBFF  is to ensure that you have not set your profile as private in your Origin settings which you can access here: https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/index?gameId=ebisu&locale=en_US
