Who designed the EA current logo?

Trying to write a thesis surrounding the EA brand. Ideally I need to know who designed the current logo. From my understanding the current logo originates from EA Sports, however I can't find out who designed that logo. Any help, even if its just pointing me in the right direction, will be greatly appreciated!
