Purchased Anno 1800 season passes on Origin due to the 10% EA Play discount. However, whenever I tried to download the extra content, even though my account is already linked to my Ubisoft account, I just get the error "We're sorry, there was a problem linking to your Ubisoft account. Please try again later." It has been two weeks now.
EA say it isn't their problem (!!!) and that no refund will be offered. They said I need to contact Ubisoft.
Ubisoft quite rightly said I didn't purchase the game with them, they have no transaction details, and because I purchased with EA, I need to go back to them.
Tried EA Support SIX TIMES and no one will offer any help apart from directing me to a useless help page about linking Origin and Uplay (which is the exact thing that isn't working).
Several hours spent with EA customer support, refusing to process a refund.
If anyone can advise how to fix the error I'd greatly appreciate the assistance, as EA themselves are absolutely useless.
