Updating failures

When I try to update sims 4 it only says verifying game files then it quits after 1 minute....

@basil1234567890  Are you running Windows or macOS?  For Windows, you can try clearing Origin's cache.  For macOS, run the Origin reset tool.

By the way, are you sure that your game has a pending update?  Here's how to find your patch level; the current version is 1.51.77.
