Unknown Steam account linked to my EA account

Received an email notice that a Steam account had been linked to my EA account. 
Changed EA password
Can't unlink the Steam account? In my "About Me" section it shows I have an unknown Steam account link along with my Playstation account, under the "Connections" tab it only shows my linked PS account.
How can I remove this Steam account?

same thing had happened to me done a live chat said they can't unlink it because the person that hacked it used it for apex and is perm banned so they need to look into it

Did you ever get this issue resolved I noticed I had the same issue after trying to play Apex on PC after buying one and an error popped up saying that I was permanently banned but I was confused because I've never played apex on PC, I've contacted support a while back but have never gotten a response.
