Unable to receive gift

My friend is trying to gift me sims 4 but is unable to

I have a old enough account and am in the same country

He says I have to enable gifting but I cannot find how to do this

@RetroNick00  Normally, I would suggest that you add the game to your wishlist first, and then see if your friend can gift you.  But right now, the base game is free, so it makes more sense to get it yourself.  Then if your friend still wants to gift you, you can put a pack or two on your wishlist instead.
