I do not understand why i have to speak to 5 different people and they cannot assist me any further ... all i want to do is buy a game and i cant because of this error? I have tried two different payment cards, trouble shot everything, deleted, reinstalled, changed details where I could and still nothing. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!

I have tried on Origin client, origin website and the sims 4 website - NOTHING Works? I made 2 purchases 3 weeks ago and it was fine?

Same problem for me... Spoke to various representatives and was advised to clear cache, (did not work), switch browser, (did not work) try logging in from different PC, (did not work).

Tried to buy Apex Coins ingame, on the origin app and online, but it still gives the same msg. (I don't have a proxy or VPN). I also switched off my Kaspersky to see if the internet security was not blocking the transaction, (did not work). (my ISP is Web Africa) 

One of my friends is also from South Africa, he did not have this problem... he could buy APEX coins... very frustrating. "EA -please sort this out" !!!!!

Im also from South Africa and having the same problems. Cant buy any games :/

Hi thanks for the advice. My solution in the end was to buy the actual PC games (in CD form) on the internet from BT Games or TakeaLot. Problem solved. I think EA is losing a LOT of business with their slow reaction to this irritating problem.

@lftstorm I didnt realise that this problem has been around since 2016!! It has now reared its ugly head again. Luckily I managed to find hard copy CD's of the games to buy.

Having this issue in the UK trying to download the Sims 4 Moschino Stuff Pack. No luck fixing it yet, tried everything I can find on the internet but still unable to purchase this.

Error message:

I don't know if you are experiencing the same thing that I am, but any time I reach out to Origin via chat and end the session, that's the message I get. The Origin app becomes inoperable. I had to uninstall and reinstall to make it work again.

I also can't download the game. I've tried several payment methods and nothing worked.
