Unable to add Amazon Account?

I was using a family member's in the past and have recently upgraded my own to Prime. I updated my Twitch information and went to claim rewards - however I am not seeing them on my Xbox Account. Today I noticed that my EA Account was still synced to my late-family member's Amazon account. I unlinked, then attempted to relink using my personal account and received a notification that "An EA Account can only be linked to one Amazon account in its lifetime." I did not see this warning before unlinking.

Is there any possibility to manually override this, as it is now on my personal account and will not be changing?

Hey @slumpbuster6,

This sounds like a pretty logical process you'd go through when trying to get your own Prime account linked up here, so sorry to hear it's caused the added frustration.

As you've found with that message, currently it's not possible to link accounts again once they've already been linked to another Prime account, manually or otherwise. I'm afraid that's not something we're able to override.

While I've not heard of any incoming changes to that system, if it does change I would expect any updates to be found here with the other Prime linking info: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/link-your-ea-account-to-prime-gaming/

Sadly there is no way around this, I believe the same applies to other accounts linked too like Xbox etc.

My only advice is to contact an EA adviser about this, but I can't say for sure they would make any kind of exception on this I'm afraid.
