If you are being asked to login as a guardian then you might be logging in on the wrong account. Or, you are actually a minor in which case you won't be able to purchase items from the store.

My name is Katrina and I have the same problem I can not purchase any of the Sims 4 vampire stuff or the glamour stuff the kids stuff and the outdoor stuff and they are not ont the discs and I really want to buy them so I you can help me out that will be great thank you

I seem to also have the same problem and am not able to purchase any games.

Hi there,

 

Could you let me know in which Country you are currently physically located?

 

The region from which previous purchases were made and the registered country on your account currently don't match, I want to make sure that this isn't causing a problem.

 

In the meantime, try the following:

 

  • Remove all current payment methods from your account
  • Add a new payment method, and set it to Primary via your account & billing page
  • Make sure that your physical location and the registered country on your account match

Please provide me with further details if you are still experiencing the problem afterwards.

Currently located in Japan, Okinawa. So I updated everything and the same error appears. Never had this issue before. The only thing I can think of is a couple of months ago I received my new chip card from Navy Federal. When I try to preorder I get a charge of 1 dollar from origin. Is the client waiting for authorization or something?
