Cannot login to my origin

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @PirateerJay.

The best thing to do when this occurs takes a couple of minutes to go through the following steps:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
• Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings
• Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
• Clear Origin Cache Data
• Reset the Windows Host File
• Reboot your computer. Now right-click Origin and select Run as administrator
• If still unresolved, please do a clean boot

It's now just gotten to this and still nothing is working i have tried all the methods

@EA_Darko i did all of that but now it wont even let me register to a new account either plus it isnt even working for my console i dont know why it's not working there since progress isnt carried over from one account to the other

Hey @PirateerJay can you try clearing your Origin Cache to see if it helps.

You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:

1. Completely log out and close down Origin
2. Hold down the Windows key and R
3. Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
4. Now open the Origin folder.
5. Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
6. Hold down the Windows key and R
7. Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
8. This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
9. Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
10. Open the Local folder here
11. Delete the Origin folder listed here
12. Restart your PC and log back into Origin

@EA_Darko Hey man i tried it all and it still hasnt worked could you please inform me why my account has been banned from all the gaming platforms? Like it should work on my ps4 since no progress is carried over from platform to platform and secondly it was working fine yesterday morning but soon after i paid for my basic origin access it wouldn't upgrade to premium but that was an issue with my bank their servers were under maintenance but after idk about 3 hours i try to log back in to upgrade my membership and it says you've been blocked.
So i really dont know what to do man

I am also having the same problem - no other issues with my network etc. Can login to origin through the browser but not the application on my computer.

Absolutely rediculous the number of problems I've had with origin since I bought it.
