@britleigh8989 Is this for Sims 4? You could cancel the download when you see it. If you have automatic game updates enabled in Origin, then the download may restart the next time you login. And even with auto updates disabled, Origin will still probably try to download any packs that are owned but not installed after every patch, or if you clear Origin's cache.
It's usually easier to let the pack install and just tell Origin not to load it. This can be done for any pack or packs and is reversible whenever you want.
