So...are Anthem and OOTP 20 actually available through Origin Access Basic?

★★★ Newbie

I'm seeing news stories everywhere about Anthem and Out of the Park 20 being added to Origin Access Basic. I loaded up Origin today to take advantage of the news and got a "vault entitlement failed" error when I attempted to add Anthem to my library; clicking on the title itself or OOTP 20, both listed under "Recent Vault Drop" on my Origin home screen, take me to a page where I'm told I need to upgrade to Premier to play either. Are these titles actually available on Basic and I'm just experiencing technical difficulties, or have I been misled by every bit of coverage? Assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey @junolabeouf both Anthem and Out of the Park 20 are now part of Origin Access and Origin Access Premier.

If you are unable to add them to your library then can you check on both the Origin abb and the website to see if you can add the games to your My game Library.

Clearing the Origin Cache can help fix the error that you are seeing.

You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:

  1. Completely log out and close down Origin
  2. Hold down the Windows key and R
  3. Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
  4. Now open the Origin folder.
  5. Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
  6. Hold down the Windows key and R
  7. Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
  8. This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
  9. Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
  10. Open the Local folder here
  11. Delete the Origin folder listed here
  12. Restart your PC and log back into Origin
