Sims 4 won't resume downloading

I am trying to download Sims 4 via Origin to my Mac. I had paused the download, then we to resume the download and now its been stuck just saying "resuming" with no progress. Help!!

@embryonicfire0  Have you tried restarting your computer yet?  If that doesn't (or didn't) help, please run the Origin reset tool for macOS:

Restart again, and try to download the game.  You'll need to start from the beginning, unfortunately, but hopefully the download will finish this time.
