Sims 4 will not launch... says "error"

I am trying to launch Sims 4 - and it says "error" every time. I contacted EA and they said it is likely an Origin issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have updated and clicked "repair" ...I am very frustrated as I have invested a lot of money into this game and now I cannot play it.
Please help!!! I just want it to launch and run smoothly...!!!

I also took down firewall, etc and still the game will not play.

Would you be able to share the full error message that you are seeing?

Do you happen to have any mods installed, if so can you remove them and try launching the game again to see if will work.

Let me know the full error message and we will take it from there.
