Sims 4 expansion packs purchase fail

I tried to purchase expansion packs from Sims 4. It won't let me make the purchase. Help plz.

Are you still running into the same error when you're trying to make the purchase? If so, are you currently using any kind of VPN or anything like that on your computer?

What happens if you try start up your PC in a Clean Boot before you try making the purchase? That way if there's something else running that's preventing it from going through it may help to get around it.
