Sims 4 download will not finalize.

Ive been trying to install the latest sims update for days now. It gets stuck on the finalize step and never finishes. I have tried multiple steps to fix this issue and it has not resolved, but I did recently get an error code: error 327684:2

I have tried the steps in this thread with no success.

I even uninstalled the game complete, uninstalled and reinstalled origin, and no luck. Any help would be appreciated!

May I ask if you have installed the game on a separate drive by any chance, other than your C drive?

 Yes, I had moved it over to my ssd drive. I will try moving it back to the C drive and see if that fixes it!

@maggie41382, no worries at all! Sometimes Windows just doesn't like stuff being installed on a different drive than where Windows itself is installed on, and that then carries over to Origin. Glad to hear that it's working again now!

How do we fix this if it’s on a Mac? I cannot get it to load past “finalizing” even after uninstalling, reloading, deleting cache, etc.

@een502189, hey! Have you tried the Origin reset tool for Mac already?
