Sims 4 disabled - not available for download

★★★ Newbie

A couple of years back, i got the free sims 4 giveaway.

Earlier this year I tried the EA Play subscription. I ended it this month. After my subscription ended I can't download/play my Sims 4 anymore.

It only says "Your EA Play membership has expired."

I already had the game before subscribing.

Any advice on what to do would be appreciated.

Happy holidays

Re: Sims 4 disabled - not available for download

@JuxtaGG  If you still have the game installed, right-click on the game tile in your Origin library, select Uninstall, and look for an option to "Revert game edition."  Choosing that option would remove the EA Play version from your library and leave you with the one you purchased.  I don't think it works if you don't have the game installed though.

You can also try clearing Origin's cache:

If this doesn't help, you'll need to contact EA customer support and request that the EA Play version of the game be removed from your account.  Other than the above suggestions, there's nothing else you can do on your end.  It should be simple enough for a support rep to fix though.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.
