Sims 4 all data lost

I tried playing the Sims 4 today. I logged in to my Origin account and I noticed, that my Sims4 was there but my frontpage looked different than what It usually does - I clicked play and when I entered the game all data was gone and it appeared like I had never played the game before. 

On my origin account it displays the last time I played the game which was 3 days ago and how many hours I have played the game but everything else is lost.

When you logged in and went to play the game, did it let you load it up and start a game?

Im not sure if I understand 

when I wanted to play I clicked on "play" in Origin - it moved me to the game itself which looked the same as the very first time I played it. I could go to the gallery and download the characters and houses that I have saved, but everything else I have not saved in the gallery has disappeared.
When I log in to Origin, my home page looks like I've never played Sims4 before, but it still shows that I've been playing it for a certain number of hours.
