I'd like to see if resetting your Origin will help. There's a great tool available for Mac users on EA Help that can do that for you.

How to Reset Origin on Mac

If it's still giving you a connection error when trying to download, let's try some of the connectivity troubleshooting.

As you've already reset Origin, you can skip that part, but please give the others a try, as well.

having the exact same problem even 2 months later. tried everything. i purchased the moschino stuff pack tonight and it immediately downloaded. i preordered island living a week or two before the release date and i guess that stuffed me up. if anyone has any idea on how to get it to work please let me know. i’m in australia and paid $50 for the pack and can’t even use it :/
