Hi,
Unable to play Red Alert 2 since Friday. Every time I try to load it up a new screen appears:
"Activate your game"
I put in my username and password then nothing happens - the screen disappears but the game doesn't start.
Please can you sort as this has been working fine for months.

I've managed to fix the issue but unfortunately it isn't an easy fix. Here's what I did:
* Uninstalled Red Alert 2 (from within Origin click the game and choose Settings > Uninstall)
* Uninstalled Origin
* Deleted the "Origin Games" folder (I moved it rather than deleted it but it was cloud synced so all the games saves & maps came back)
* Rebooted my PC
* Reinstalled Origin using the latest download from the official site
* Reinstalled Red Alert 2
At this point it would allow me to play the game again.
Sadly all my customisations (higher res, ability to ALT-TAB etc) are gone but I'm slowly getting them back by steady Googling and testing.
Look for cnc-ddraw release 1.3.9.0 as this was the patch that worked for me wrt ALT-TABing
Good luck!

I'm in the same boat. This is really frustrating.

Hey @tshaw8707 and @cookleft can you ensure that the account details that you are using are the correct ones for the account on which you own the game.
It may be worth speaking with one of our phone or chat support advisers who will be able to take a look at your account and advise you further.
You can contact our live support at help.ea.com.
To speak with a chat adviser:
Click on your product Origin
Then select 'PC
Manage my Account'
Can't log in
Finally, you can choose to begin a chat or request a call back.

Yes, I only have one Origin account and I have been using it for months with no issues.
