@puzzlezaddict I have the same problem and I'm on asus vivobook 17. I've tried everything, but the trial wont download.

@okossiSytaf and @imdead65  I don't know why you can't download the Sims 4 trial in Windows, sorry.  Try clearing Origin's cache:

You could also try using a different connection, e.g. taking your laptop to a place with free wifi or using your phone as a mobile hotspot.

If that doesn't work, try contacting EA customer support to ask whether there's an issue with your account.
