I want to talk about something you don't mention above: It says i either have multiple accounts or im playing on multiple devices but im not
How accessible is the current experience? It's useless to me

I tried opening the sims but it says origin is having problems but its been like this for weeks and i really just want to play my game. It said i need to get my product code, which i used, to access my account but it says i already used it. So i really dont know what to do. Please help
@brookeaadams I've moved your post to the Origin tech section, since this is an issue with Origin and macOS.
Please let me know what operating system you have. Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner, select About This Mac, and you'll see macOS [something].
@brookeaadams Origin is currently broken on Yosemite. Some players have had success using a legacy version though. First, do a clean uninstall of Origin. Be sure to remove its hidden library files as well. Here's how:

When you open it, be sure to uncheck the box to keep Origin and your games up to date, or else Origin will try to patch itself to the latest version.
@brookeaadams No, the point of using the legacy version of Origin is that it works with Yosemite, so you don't need to update your OS. You could definitely update to El Capitan at the very least, if you wanted, but it shouldn't be necessary at this point.
If you mean upgrade the hardware, then no, that's not necessary either. This is a software problem.
