I can't sign into origin in order to download sims 4

Same here. I have searched for ways to fix it but none of them are working. I was able to make an account but not sign in.

I was able to download the free Sims 4, but it glitches when I try to play it. I've tried repairing it and updating it but it still glitches. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi! So It took a few hours to get it, but when I finally did it wouldn't let me on. Every time I open the game it would close immediately. I let it sit for a few hours and let it cool down, but it still was happening. I decided to let it be for a long time so I left it there all night and day and it still wont work.

@0528laci  There are a couple more workarounds you can try.  The first is to add TS4 to your library through origin.com.  Open a private browser window and go to this site:

Don't sign in yet.  Click the button that says "Get it Free" (the words, not the little arrow).  On the next page, click "Get it Free" again, the button under the Standard Edition.  Then Origin will ask you to sign in, and when you do, the game should be added to your library.

If this doesn't work, try going to origin.com on a mobile device.  It's possible that the problem is your home internet provider, so be sure to use mobile data instead.

If these steps don't help, I will ask someone else to look into your situation early tomorrow morning, before the offer runs out.

@1800yemi and @errlydabbers  Please try the above steps as well.  @errlydabbers  For the issues with the Origin app, you can try clearing Origin's cache, and if that doesn't help, uninstalling Origin "the hard way" and reinstalling.

@margozondert - that sounds like Origin might be having issues to connect to the internet. We just released an update for Origin - please, close the Origin client completely, and open it again. If asked, give Origin permission to download and install an update. Try to download the game again after that

@0528laci, when are you getting that error? When you press the Download button or during the installation of the game?
