OriginThinSetupInternal (32bit) Stuck at Spinning Circle

★★★ Newbie

Hello,

Can someone help me with this problem? I'm trying to install this Game for several times now, but still somehow unsuccessful..

I'm using Windows 10 1809 (OS Build 17763.292).. All drivers are installed properly including latest Adrenalin 19.2.1..

No other information is being told on why it keeps getting stuck at this window (see pics below)..

Hardware:
Intel Core i5-6500 (AIO cooled)
2x8GB G.Skill Trident Z 2400
240GB GEIL Zenith R3 (156GB free of 222GB)
ASUS ROG Strix RX580 8GB Gaming OC (stock/undervolt -stable 60C at stressed)
ThermalTake SmartSE 530W 80+

Thank you..

Clearing the Origin Cache should get you sorted @rasznavi/.

You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:

  1. Completely log out and close down Origin
  2. Hold down the Windows key and R
  3. Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
  4. Now open the Origin folder.
  5. Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
  6. Hold down the Windows key and R
  7. Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
  8. This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
  9. Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
  10. Open the Local folder here
  11. Delete the Origin folder listed here
  12. Restart your PC and log back into Origin

Let me know how you get on.

Good day Sir,

I was able to fix the problem early morning.. for some unknown reason, the origin setup doesn't want my wifi connection (although stable at 20mbps).. tried to connect my pc to internet via usb sharing (from my phone) and the installation succeeded..

Thank you,

ivanz
