Origin won't install/launch

Origin won't load so I uninstalled it. I downloaded it again but it won't run. I've tried as an administrator, I've tried with my virus protection turned off, still nothing. I want to buy some Sims packs but why bother if I can't get into the game?

Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with installing Origin client 

Could you tell me if there's any error message showing up? What usually happens when you try to launch the installer? The more details you can give, the better
