Origin thinks I still have BF1 Trial, even updates the trial [ Edited ]

Yep, I had this issue as well with Battlefield V.

I fixed mine by removing the bfvTrial.exe file out of the main folder it lives in. Refreshed my Origin library & it was gone....done & dusted.

still exists in 2018 ! got the same Problem with bfv.

It also doesnt save my singleplayer progress and just saving half of my settings.

today it first wanted to update the trialversion which i cant find o.O 

@Suicidal-Pig and what happens now if you repair the deluxe or standard version you got ? is the trial.exe staying away?

Yep. Whatever you do DO NOT SEARCH FOR AND UNINSTALL THE TRIAL as this will uninstall the purchased game as well.

It will be interesting to see whether the trial .exe will be included when I re-download the proper version.

2 years on and EA still haven't addressed this.

Same problem here for me.

Latest patch is installing on the full version BFV, and it also says BFV Trial is at 42%.

Both have literally just finished updating.

I had the trial installed first, then I purchased the full game and installed via Origin.

Trial is still there, but it is installed into the same main flder as the full game.

My BFV folder is 51.4gb - is that normal or is it bloated with the trial version in there as well?

Completely normal. remove bfv trial.exe and any file with trial exit orgin, open origin reload games. you should be good to go.

Absolutely pathetic response, i expect nothing from EA and im still disappointed. I had to delete and  redownload 54gb of Anthem to get it to work because of the damn trial.
