Origin shows my status with the wrong game

Sorry for the late response. my email notifications are off. I tried the task manager trick after uninstalling both battlefield games out of frustration so I suppose i took care of the issue without realizing. Good catch though

this is happening to me as well with Jedi Fallen Order. Trying the repair game function now, hopefully this works, because getting pulled out of game while playing ranked is a total killjoy.

Just started having this problem a few days ago. I'm not getting minimized but I have notifications off for when friends are sign in / start a new game. Origin friends are getting notification I started playing TitanFall 2 while I'm playing Apex Legends, keeps switching back and forth.

Hello,

I have the same problem too, since 3 weeks.
My Origin status randomly appearing as "Battlefield V 2 / 4 - Conquest - Iwo Jima".
Problem occuring even while in another game or invisible mode.

There is no indication about the related game in Task Manager when that happen.
The problem is very annoying. Please fix that as soon as possible.

I tried these things listed below already;

- Clear Origin Cache
- Run the related game properly then close

@bernardsticles I don't believe this is the case. It appears to be an Origin issue not game-specific as people are experiencing the same issue with Apex (and in some cases don't even have BF installed). I tried repairing BFV several times anyway and it still hasn't fixed my issue. I have been showing as "in game" in BFV for the last week straight even when I'm signed out and PC is switched off.
