So I had origin on my windows 10 for a while and played the sims 3 on it, now I just got the sims 4 and downloaded it, but when I went to play it my origin was all gray. I looked up how to fix this, and the internet told me to uninstall origin from my pc and to reinstall it. I uninstalled it, but when i went to the origin website and tried to redownload it, it wouldn't let me and I just pushed the download button with nothing happening. Pls help.

moving your post to the Origin forum as it sounds like an Origin Problem and not Sims 4.
Have you tried a different browser for downloading ?

Go in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin -delete this Origin folder.
Delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
Restart your machine.
