@1Guma - disabling Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader in Device Manager did the job for me. Origin now works.

OMG, Disabling Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader worked immediately for me. I troubleshot this issue with two technical support friends for a collective 5 hours!
Here is your path - Control Panel - Device Manager - "Expand" Universal Bus Serial Controllers - "Disable" Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader

Disabling USB Mass Storage Device worked for me, EA sucks. I haven't been able to play Origin games for weeks.

Hi Friends, i was having this problem for weeks, i removed my usb from my paper works and worked right away!!!
tried remove that, and dont start your computer with usbs

I unplugged the usb device that was in the back of my computer and the " Online login is currently unavailable." went away, I can finally login....how hasn't EA fixed this issue yet.
