Origin offline mode not working

A week ago I updated origin to the latest update and everything was fine.  2 days ago I tried to open sims 3 and 4 in offline mode like I had been playing and it told me there was no connection.  Went somewhere with internet signed into origin switched back to offline mode opened the games all fine.  Shut off computer tried to open games later with no internet and now I cant.  The normal sign in box comes up usually I can sign in no problem now nothing happens

Can you try the following steps @ebiggers if f Origin won't start in Origin's offline mode:

• Exit Origin.
• Disable your internet connection.
• Start Origin as you would normally and log into your account.

If you see an error message of any kind can you let me know.

I try this and it works no problem.  But once the computer is shut off and turned back on to play without internet I cant get logged on to play.  I have no connection at my house so I log in and switch modes at my parents the take my computer home to play but the battery is friend sp once I unplug it it shuts off if not I would just leave it on and sleep.mode because that causes no issues
