Already tried clearing the Cache, twice, still the same problem.

I had a similar problem...I fixed the problem by disabling the firewalls from my antivirus.

Tried that too, aswell as adding Origin to the Programs on the Exception-List, didn't work either.

@EA_Darko TWICE I have followed the directions listed above to the letter in a vain effort to restore my Sims 4. I still get nothing but your black border with white areas [for messages and icons] that flicker between varying shades of gray.

I received a couple of expansion packs for Christmas that I was looking forward to installing for play. Now I cannot play anything that Origin has to offer or that which I've already purchased.

This didn't worked for me. Please help. Origin Desktop app is just loading and loading. ((
