I have the exact same problem. Don't bother uninstalling Origin, it won't work as that's what I tried.

As far as I know, there have been huge issues with Origin the past couple of days, possibly due to a Comcast issue. You may want to try looking for Origin outage maps to see if your area is affected. Hopefully EA will have this fixed soon.

Hey all, if you are seeing this issue can you clear the Origin cache and then try again.

You can clear the Origin Cache by following the steps below:

  1. Completely log out and close down Origin
  2. Hold down the Windows key and R
  3. Type in "%ProgramData%" (without quotes) and click OK
  4. Now open the Origin folder.
  5. Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for LocalContent (do not delete this one)
  6. Hold down the Windows key and R
  7. Type in "%AppData%" (without quotes) and click OK
  8. This will take you to a Roaming folder, which is located inside of AppData. Delete the Origin folder
  9. Click on the word "AppData" at the top of your window
  10. Open the Local folder here
  11. Delete the Origin folder listed here
  12. Restart your PC and log back into Origin

Tried deleting the cache. Origins still crashes on login. Reinstalling does nothing. It's send to start up more cursor lags and then it crashed. Origin web helper service is still on in task manager???

same issue here today. tried the suggestions above and no change to presentation of client. last played Battlefield 1 campaign July 1st 2018 ok from origin client. But today had the same as the screenshot like the other user. In the origin menu application settings does nothing too. No games displayed only tiles where they would be, and the left hand side menu is the same. Running Windows 10. Online Origin displays normally.
