Origin minimizing games to tell me when someone is playing a game.

I've also had this issue develop in the last few days. At first it was only once I launched a game (Steam mostly) but now it happens every 5 to 10 minutes at random interval. Strange thing is I'd minimised Origin to notification so it should not pop up at all. Must be a bug that's causing some kind of invisible prompt

Have the same problem, My games just minimalize all the time.. We can't play FIFA, because We lose the match, because minimize game..

In the app settings, try to disable the option of allowing Origin App to connect to a game, appears to have worked for me

Happening to me as well. Not to mention that my Origin crashes every time I start my PC and I have to manually restart it. Quite a platform you got there.

Try minimizing friends and chat window before launching any game

Launched Fifa without doing this, and problem was like before

I hope E/A is looking into this, quite frustrating aside when servers are not available because of web traffic

Same situation here. Me and my brother (two different computers with different accounts) cannot play the games as normal. As soon as game starts after five minutes, game is minimized. Fix this problem immediately, it concerns many people across the world. We are not using any chat programs during game play and origin in game is turn off and still happening.

This solution worked for me, I found it in another topic:

1. Close Origin and services processes (OriginWebHelperService.exe и OriginClientService.exe).

2. Delete all files in 2 folders

"C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License"

"C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License"

3. Start Origin again
