Hi,
I just bought Sims 4 but it is not showing up in library. Also, when Origin starts I get an error message that I can't connect tot Origin server., "Origin's servers are temporarily unavailable." and that it's not possible to download my games currently.
Please help!

Update July 2021: Since it was asked, the legacy version of Origin doesn't work anymore, but users running Yosemite should be able to run the current version of Origin.
@vickyyykickyyy It's no wonder you can't get Origin to work—it doesn't run properly in Yosemite. You can install a legacy version instead though. First, do a clean uninstall to remove all traces of the current version of Origin from your computer. Here's how:

You can download the legacy version from here:
https://www.dm.origin.com/mac/download/legacy
When installing, be sure to uncheck the box to automatically keep Origin and your games up to date, or else Origin will update itself to the current, nonworking version.

@vickyyykickyyy and @lifesimmerhjj What versions of macOS do each of you have? If you're not sure, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen and select About This Mac.

@baileysneaker If you are trying to use the Origin legacy client, support for it has been discontinued.
https://help.ea.com/help/origin/origin/operating-system-not-supported-by-origin/
What happened to the legacy version of Origin?
To keep up with the most recent technology and operating systems available on PC and Mac, the legacy version of Origin is going away on January 14, 2020.
You will keep all of your purchases if you don’t upgrade by then, but you won’t be able to use them. Upgrade now to the minimum requirements for your operating system and Origin to continue playing your games.
I'll defer to @puzzlezaddict with regard to your possible options [Boot Camp; upgrading macOS (depending on your hardware), although maybe not to Catalina (if available for your hardware) depending on what Origin games you own; etc].

@MOBKCB Try running the Origin reset tool for macOS:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/
And make sure you don't have a proxy enabled. Here's how to check:

If these steps don't help, please let me know what happens when you try to open Origin; if you're seeing an error, a screenshot would be helpful.
