The only other suggestions I can offer are to allow your computer to sync with internet time (you can change it and resync), and to switch the date format on your computer. Some people have reported that having a DD/MM/YY format messes with Origin, but it seems to be dependent on region and the language used by Windows. Otherwise, you're better off asking for help where a Windows expert can help you.
