One day, I was playing Sims 4 and out of nowhere, it makes a buzzing noise, while everything on the screen freezes for as long as the buzzing makes noise
(It lasts for about 0.1-1 seconds) The reason I might think the problem for this bug is Origin is because I was helping a friend download Origin/Sims 4 on his computer and once again it did the exact bug I described. This happens sometimes frequently when Origin is closed especially after playing a game.

That's an odd one @JrMalungo and not something that I have seen before.
Can you grab me a DxDiag so that I can take a look at your system: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
The more info we have the better we can help.

Please try a clean boot before starting Origin: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
If everything is okay at that point then it will be up to you to determine which piece of software (that is starting when you bootup) is causing the issue.
Thanks.

@EA_Barry Problem is, I'm running it on Windows 7 and these steps show that they are specific to Windows 10

@EA_Barry So far the bug hasn't happened for a while now, but once it happens I'll try your solution before starting Origin.
