Heya,
Just downloaded OriginThinSetup to play BF V Deluxe. Upon opening the install I am greeted with the message
'Could not connect to Origin services
You need to be connected to the internet to get the latest version of Origin. Please check your connection and try again.
Help can be found here:
https://download.dm.origin/live/OriginSetup.exe
Error codes
14:-4'
.I am on the internet and am connected, as i am typing this message. The link that is shown only goes to a page saying that I need to be online. I have checked Windows Defender and nothing is being blocked there. Any ideas?

Make sure Time/Date is correctly set in your machine.
Delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
