Hi,
This is probably a stupid question, but when trying to download origin from https://www.origin.com/can/en-us/store/download, a pop-up appears in my browser asking if I want to download OriginThinSetup.exe from origin-a.akamaihd.net
When I look up a.akamaihd, a lot of people asking how to remove it/asking if it's a virus show up in the google results. I just want to know, is this is the official origin download? I want to make sure I'm not being tricked into downloading a virus.
(I get really paranoid about these things, and worry a lot. The source of the installer seems really sketchy to me)
Thank you so much ahead of time.

Hey @batsyy7, you are safe to download that file. The actual web address for it is https://eaassets-a.akamaihd.net/Origin-Client-Download/origin/live/OriginThinSetup.exe
The error is just your anti-virus seeing it most likely as a PUP or Possibly Unwanted Program. It's there to stop something downloading without your say so.
Let me know how you get on.

I think that is for Windows.
